Lorraine Toussaint has joined the cast of the pilot for the television series reboot of The Equalizer at CBS. She joins the pilot’s lead, Queen Latifah, who is stepping into a role described as a new take on the character played by Edward Woodward on the original series and by Denzel Washington in the film franchise.
